Restorative Yoga Series- with Jeanette Keir

Restorative yoga works to bring neutrality to the body. Each pose is fully supported by props (such as bolsters, blocks, blankets etc.) and held for longer periods of time, allowing the body to release tension and stress. The workshop is mat based and incorporates therapeutic elements of hands-on assists, massage and aromatherapy in a safe, calming environment. Restorative yoga works to create balance between the body and the mind through the use of breath work and poses aimed at opening the body and relaxing the nervous system. The aim is to leave you feeling relaxed and renewed. Class size will be limited to 8 people to ensure maximum attention to participants. All levels welcome, no yoga experience required.

Yoga for Men – with David Bruni 

Thursday’s7:30-8:30 pm

April 19 – May 31 2018 

This 7-week program is designed to introduce male students to the physical practice of yoga in a slow, safe and comprehensive manner, and in a manner designed specifically for the male body.  A smaller class size allows for more individual attention, detailed instructions (including modifications for all needs and abilities), hands-on adjustments, and questions. At the end of this workshop students will be prepared to transition into our regularly scheduled classes, and will be equipped with the knowledge of how to modify postures for their specific body types, within a regular class setting. First-timers welcome.

Investment: $160 for 7 sessions.   No class passes.


Candlelit Doweling and Self-Massage – with David Bruni

This unique workshop will focus on highly effective, yet very simple techniques to quickly soften the muscles and tendons and sooth the superficial nervous system. The dowel is 2 feet in length and made of wood. Doweling is a form of self-therapy used to loosen layers of tension and stress that lie beneath the surface of the skin. The sensations created by the dowel are similar to receiving a massage, but you remain in control of the pressure applied. Basic yoga poses will be used to create strength and mobility in the shoulders, hips, and knees. Then, students will employ the dowel to release connective tissue and tense muscles. The results will have students feeling as strong as they are flexible, as they are soft; the perfect balance.

Living Meditation: Afternoon of Learning, Healing, Growth; with Amanda Vitaro


During meditation, the individual trains the mind to acknowledge it’s content without becoming identified with that content.  Living Meditation is an approach that can aid anyone who is looking to make the most out of life or navigate challenges on his/her path. Whether you’re ready to start a daily 45 minute practice or just learn some tools to shift your mood when you need to, Living Meditation is an excellent resource, as its essential factor is its application to conscious living.

In this afternoon of learning, healing and growing, we will explore yoga in its entirety, through asana, discussion, contemplation, and meditation. Yoga is a never ending process of transformation. It is the healing of ourselves to be joined back with our natural state of loving kindness. Transformation happens when you take the time to explore the vast depths of yourself. But in the modern yoga world, a large emphasis has been put on the physical practice, while dimming the light and significance of all of the other practices that yoga involves.  While important, there is so much more healing that come from going beyond a physical practice.  When we take it to the next stage of taking time to sit down and go inward, your deepest most subtle energies can be found and connected with. This is where true transformation happens. This is how yoga becomes a way of life, rather than a practice that you occasionally come to.

In the workshop, you will use techniques to dig really deep within to observe, learn, heal and find freedom. Complimentary journals, refreshments and snacks will be provided.

No prior mediation experience required.

Intro to Yoga – with David Bruni 

This workshop is designed to introduce new students to the physical practice of yoga in a slow, safe and comprehensive manner. A smaller class size (maximum 6 participants) allows for more individual attention, detailed instructions (including modifications for all needs and abilities), hands-on adjustments, and questions. Intro to Yoga is great for those with little or no experience, as well as continuing students interested in reviewing the basics and reconnecting to the fundamentals of the practice! At the end of this workshop students will be prepared to transition into our regularly scheduled classes. This course may also be repeated.

Movement for Mental Health – with Natalie Marnica

Join Natalie for this unique Movement for Mental Health workshop!.
Depression, anxiety and chronic stress are long-term struggles.
Natalie has struggled with mental health and knows that it can be absolutely debilitating, and make it extremely difficult to find a sense of mental focus, relaxation and calmness.
So she designed this workshop to help others live better with simple and empowering practices that increase mental clarity, improve mood and boost self-awareness.
By applying specific yogic tools , mindfulness techniques and small dietary habits people can alleviate anxiety,
reduce depression and chronic stress on a daily basis. It is possible to feel better, and the body is a vehicle for that.
This workshop incorporates postures and flows that include conscious breathing , chanting and meditation techniques that are selected and modified for the people participating.

 Learn To Take Flight – with Lisa Pisano

This arm balance workshop is appropriate for students of all levels, regardless of whether or not your feet have ever left the ground in a yoga pose. In this fun and exhilarating workshop, students will learn how to lift off with mindfulness and ease. Various poses such as Bakasana (crow pose), Parsva Bakasana (side crow), Astavakrasana (eight angle pose), and Eka Pada Koundinyasana will be explored. Arm balances strengthen the muscles, bones and joints of the hands, arms, chest, shoulders, back and abdominals. They also increase blood flow to these parts of the body. The mind becomes more focused and content when yogic flight is achieved. This playful and challenging workshop will focus on building upper body strength as well as deep core work which are required in all arm balance poses. Learn what it feels like to balance your body with your feet off the ground. Are you ready to fly?

Yoga for Every Body – Instructor TBA

Yoga is for EVERY body. The physical practice of yoga helps to improve flexibility & strength, calm the mind, and improve overall health, but it’s not just for those who may already be strong or flexible. If you experience limited mobility, are recovering from an injury, have a specific physical issue, or have never practiced yoga before, this 4-part series of classes would be perfect for you! The classes will be slow-paced, and will be tailored to suit the individual needs of participants.  Class-size will be limited to 5 students, to ensure individual attention. This is your perfect opportunity to start yoga and see where it takes you!
