PRIVATE YOGA INSTRUCTION
Private yoga classes can be conducted in-studio or at your home by an instructor selected based on your needs, or an instructor selected by you. The class(es) will be created based
on your own personal needs and goals, such as advancing your practice in a specific area, alleviating pain such as back pain, or practising safely with an injury. You will be able to
learn at your own pace and obtain personal attention and adjustments tailored to
your personal requirements.
Whether you are new to yoga and wish to receive personalized guidance, or an experienced practitioner seeking to meet specific goals,private yoga classes can be ideal.

Reiki is a Japanese form of alternative medicine which uses a technique called
“palm healing” or “hands-on healing” through which universal energy is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the student to encourage
emotional or physical healing.
It is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick
or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.
Shiatsu is a form of therapeutic bodywork from which originated in Japan. It uses kneading, pressing, soothing, tapping, and stretching techniques and is performed through light, comfortable clothing. Shiatsu massage therapy can provide a number of benefits, including reducing chronic pain, working tension and spasms out of the muscles, thus eliminating muscle aches, and aiding in migraines by relaxing the body and increasing blood flow and circulation throughout the body, as well as a number of other benefits.

THAI YOGA MASSAGE
Thai yoga massage is a therapeutic and nurturing form of bodywork that is performed fully clothed on a cushioned mat on the floor. It fluidly incorporates deep muscle pressure, assisted yoga-like stretches and twists, acupressure, joint mobilization, and energy work.During a session, a practitioner gracefully guides the recipient through a series of passive, yoga-like stretches, using their hands, forearms, elbows, knees, and feet to compress and palpate the muscles of the body. Thai Yoga Massage helps to relieve tension and clear energy blocks, leaving the recipient in a blissful state of relaxation and well-being. This wonderful form of massage is an excellent way to relieve sore muscles and tension as well a perfect complement to your yoga practice.

STUDIO SPACE RENTAL
When not otherwise in use, Yoga Light Studio practice rooms are available for rental for workshops or wellness-related uses at $100/hour or more plus HST, depending on the event and whether or not additional staffing will be required. Payment must be made in full at time of reservation. There are no refunds for cancellations made within 48 hours of the reserved date. For cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance, refunds are subject to a 50% administration fee.
We are also able to host your upcoming event or party, which can include a specifically themed yoga class, snacks and beverages, as well as other items that you may request, which will make your event special.
